Newberry Springs is a rural desert community of gentleman farmer, ranch size parcels with only a very small handful being less than 2.5 acres. The average home lot is 5 acres or more, and approximately 90% of residential improvements are manufactured homes of average to custom quality. Zoning is mainly equestrian and agricultural. There is no community water company or natural gas. Wells are used to pump water from the aquifer beneath the respective land for reasonable use up to 10 acre feet per year (1 acre foot is a little over 325,000 gallons). Propane is delivered to those using combustible fuel.
Newberry Springs is located in the Mojave Desert area just East of Barstow, between I-15 and I-40, Newberry Springs offers a unique living experience. Our community offers the historic nostalgia of the National Trails Highway Route 66, desert and mountain exploration and our location makes fun-filled day trips possible for shopping, casinos, beaches, and theme parks throughout Southern California.
